I don't know why they get such a bad rap, the wired earbuds and these truly wireless ones are fantastic!! I understand not everyone is built the same, so we have different size ear openings, but these fit me wonderfully. And as far as sound they are LOUD. I listen to all music; I'm a musician. I also heavily rely on headphones for calls, conducting business, safe driving, exercise, etc. I do not experience any of the issues others have mentioned. They do not fall out when I jog, run, or do high intensity workouts. They do not shift in my ear. They are very loud and have a lot of bass. But I can also get these oriented in the right fashion to where they provide me these intended features. I cannot stand IEMs, the in ear buds with the rubber tips. They hurt my ear canals. But I am one of the few that benefit from the shape and size of these Apple AirPods and headphones. They are expensive, but they have so many awesome functions. My iPhone and iPod auto connect, display battery life of each AirPod and the battery of the charging case. I can draft notes, texts, ask Siri to place calls, search the Internet, And tons more! Do not go the cheap route!! Not worth it. Take it from a SUPER cheapskate: some things are worth the money.
